#DiversityMatters
Diversity in the start-up ecosystem is a problem. Less than 3% of venture funding globally goes to women, yet they typically outperform their male counterparts (BCG). Australian startups are dominated by men – 77% male founders. Access to capital, training to help build new skills & access to networks of power are key challenges. Promoting & celebrating diversity by sharing the stories of inspirational women to our network is one thing 11eight can do. You can support startup ecosystem diversity by sharing these posts or reaching out to the Founder if you can help.
